Therapy Approach

I use an integrative therapeutic framework tailored to each person. I work from a holistic lens, considering how your emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and somatic experiences shape one another. My training includes Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT). Together, we’ll work collaboratively to deepen insight, build helpful skills, and create meaningful change toward identified therapeutic goals.

Zoey Stark, Ph.D.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, offering virtual care to adults across Quebec and Ontario. I support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, post-traumatic stress, interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions. I work collaboratively with clients to make sense of their emotional experiences and the patterns influencing their lives.

My approach is informed by extensive training and clinical experience in hospital settings, including outpatient clinics and day-hospital programs. I’ve worked with people facing both acute and chronic mental health challenges, supporting them through periods of instability, recovery, and longer-term growth. These experiences help me understand the complexity of psychological distress as well as the many paths toward meaningful change.
